Tarjeta postal de 135 x 90 mm editada sobre cartulina muy fina en color por la Escuela Departamental de Puericultura de Sevilla dependiente de la Dirección General de Sanidad, en ella se muestra como fondo un dibujo que representa una escalera a la que ascienden niños de pocos años, aparecen algunos árboles y lo que puede ser un gran sol, símbolos de salud y vida (sol y árboles). En la parte inferior aparecen dos esferas horarias, la primera indicando las horas para amamantar a un bebé y la segunda con las horas para dar el biberón. El dibujo está firmado por Bonilla.Viene acompañado de una leyenda defendiendo la lactanca materna: "!madre, cría a tu hijo y defenderás su salud ¡ "
La postal informaba a las nuevas madres sobre el tema de la lactancia de una forma sencilla pues debió de estar dirigida a madres con poca instrucción.
El reverso está preparado para poder usarla como tarjeta postal con el espacio dividido para texto y para la dirección y el lugar marcado para el sello. Está impresa en "Gráficas sevillanas".
Esta tarjeta postal debe corresponder a los años 40 ó 50 del siglo XX por la vestimenta de los niños y por la poca calidad del papel donde está impresa que sugiere tiempos de penuria económica que pueden corresponder a la postguerra española.
