Tengo que pedir perdón por dos cosas, la primera porque en la anterior entrada nos despedíamos de Mercedes y sin embargo aquí estamos con otra tarjetas postal de ella (éstas creo que si van a ser la últimas) y en segundo lugar porque el número de esta tarjeta es el 141 y en realidad son dos, aunque casi iguales por lo que las trataremos como una unidad.
Dos foto-tarjetas postales (fotografías realizadas por los fotógrafos a sus clientes en un soporte de tarjeta postal impreso en el reverso para poder utilizarse directamente y franquearlas de forma más económica) iguales pero dirigidas a personas distintas, una de ellas está recortada. La primera mide 84 x 134 y la segunda ha quedado reducida a 72 x 130 (probablemente porque se guardó en un álbum o marco donde la dimensión era excesiva). Ambas están selladas en seco con un escudo en su esquina superior izquierda con el que parece ser el escudo de la familia y del que ya hemos hablado en una anterior entrada.
En el anverso está la fotografía de una muy joven Mercedes con un bonito peinado y un glamuroso vestido. En la primera hay una dedicatoria a tinta encima de la fotografía, dirigida u una prima y firmada por Mercedes.
La segunda está dedicada en el reverso y dice: "Para Pedro Acedo, el amigo que más distingue y recuerda Mercedes Fernández", está escrita con tinta verde que se ha desvaido con el tiempo y está reescrita encima con tinta sepia, probablemente mucho tiempo después por la propia Mercedes.
Ninguna de las dos tarjetas están circuladas por lo que debió de tratarse de entregas en mano o en sobre. A pesar de estar dirigidas a otras personas, al final de la vida volvieron a estar en posesión de la remitente Mercedes que las pudo recuperar.
