Dos foto tarjetas postales para despedir a la Señorita Mercedes Fernández Guerra de la Vega, de Medina Sidonia (Cádiz) que disfrutó su adolescencia y juventud en los felices años 20 y a la que hemos dedicado las tres anteriores entradas de este blog.
Se trata de dos foto-tarjetas postales (las realizaban los fotógrafos sobre papel fotográfico con el reverso impreso como tarjeta postal para enviarla directamente por correo con un franqueo reducido), en la primera de 89 x 138 mm, aparece en el anverso la fotografía en brillo de la Sta. Mercedes con unos 10 años de edad (debe ser hacia 1911) tocando el piano, en el reverso están impresos los textos: "Tarjeta postal (UNION POSTAL UNIVERSAL) ESPAÑA" y no está escrita ni circulada, también están impresas líneas y puntos separando el texto de la dirección (hay más espacio para la dirección, influencia directa de pocos años antes en los que esta parte sólo admitía la dirección), las líneas para poner la dirección o el espacio destinado a pegar el sello para el franqueo (esquina superior derecha).
La segunda foto-postal está fechada en 1920 (Nuestra señorita Mercedes debía rondar los 19 o 20 años de edad), es de un tamaño de 139 x 88 mm, en el anverso aparece una fotografía mate de un desfile de soldados dentro de un cuartel (jura de bandera) que ocupa un espacio de 111 x 79 mm enmarcado por un filo blanco alrededor (mucho mayor en su parte derecha).
