Preciosa tarjeta postal impresa en colores y relieve de influencia modernista de 92 x 140 mm con dos escenas en el anverso, la primera con un barco de vela y en la segunda dos holandesas mirando al mar. En el borde inferior izquierdo aparecen las iniciales E.S.D. y el número 767. Con la impresión en relieve de las grecas y otras zonas se consiguen texturas en algunas zonas por lo que esta tarjeta postal es muy agradable tanto a la vista como al tacto.
En el reverso (aún sin dividir y con el espacio sólo para la dirección) aparece impreso en varios idiomas "Tarjeta postal" y "Unión Postal Universal" (la edición probablemente es alemana).
Va dirigida a la Srta. María Vega al Balneario de Guitiriz (Lugo). El nombre completo de la destinataria es María Luisa Fernández de la Vega y Lombán, hermana de Elisa y Jimena de las que ya hemos hablado en otras entradas e hija del médico director del balneario de Guitiriz D. Wenceslao Fernández de la Vega y Pasarín.
Está franqueada con un sello de Alfonso XIII de 10 céntimos y matasellado en Vega de Rivadeo (Oviedo) el 30 de agosto de 1904.
En el anverso y rodeando a los dibujos aparece el siguiente texto manuscrito con pluma y tinta sepia: "Querida María me alegró mucho tu postal porque en ella veo que correspondes al cariño que te tiene tu amiga María de la Gloria. Recuerdos de Carolina y Fernando".
