110.- Verdadero retrato de la Santísima Virgen de la Cabeza patrona de Montejícar. (Hacia 1920 - By 1920)

Tarjeta postal de 89 x 142 mm realizada por un fotógrafo local para ser vendida en el pueblo de Montejícar y alrededores. En los años 20 se utilizaba papel fotográfico que ya traía impreso en el reverso TARJETA POSTAL para que los fotógrafos pudiesen vender a sus clientes más fotografias que podían enviarse directamente por correo con franqueo más económico.

Se observa aquí el montaje artesano de ese desconocido fotógrafo local para realizar los bordes que enmarcan a la imagen, la fotografía parece ser de otra fotografía a la que se ha añadido el texto "VERDADERO RETRATO DE LA SMA. VIRGEN DE LA CABEZA PATRONA DE MONTEJICAR"

Montejícar es una población de unos 2500 habitantes de la provincia de Granada y limítrofe su término con el de Huelma (Jaén) con el que mantiene mucha relación.

La fotografía está parcialmente coloreada en la peana de la imagen, las flores o la corona de la Virgen y del Niño Jesús. Los puntos laterales corresponden a excrementos de mosca ya que ésta ha estado expuesta al aire para el culto de esta imagen.

La tarjeta postal no está circulada porque el propietario la adquirío para uso propio.
