Tarjeta postal impresa con un dibujo a color de 140 x 85 mm con filo blanco de entre 2 y 3 mm. El dibujo representa una fiesta campestre con bailes populares junto a una ermita en el norte de España.
El reverso no tiene nada impreso por lo que no se identifica el editor, ni siquiera tiene marcado el lugar para el sello o la dirección.
No está franqueada por lo que debió de entregarse en mano o metida en un sobre. Hay un texto que ocupa todo el reverso escrito a tinta con pluma con letra elegante y adulta en forma de poesía que dice lo siguiente:
"Sra. Dña Mercedes E. Vda. de Guezala
Mercedillas muy querida:
El diagnóstico cabal
de esas tus melancolías
es por contemplarse mucho
y hacer caso a tonterías.
Si he de decirte verdad
pues sino no lo diría
agrada a Dios este baile
más que esas tus boberías.
Haz eso sí cuanto puedas
por agradecer al Señor
mas después cierra la puerta
a tu recriminación.
Que sino Zaldívar tiene
algunos cuartos vacantes
y habrá que pensar muy pronto
de cogerte y de llevarte.
Merchechus no seas tonta
que esta vida se nos va
y si pensamos en lo hecho,
por hacer nos quedará.

Parece la carta de un pretendiente a su amiga viuda a la que recrimina que no salga y viva de nuevo su vida y le recuerda con la postal que un baile no hace mal a nadie y deje de preocuparse de lo que digan los demás.
Bonita postal en su conjunto, tanto por el texto como por la imagen, fechada en el 2º año de la II república española. El baile puede ser de las zonas rurales de Santander o del país vasco, los apellidos que aparecen son vascos pero está fechada en Santander.

Pretty picture as a whole, both the text and the image, dated the 2 nd year of the Second Spanish Republic. The dance can be in rural areas of Santander and the Basque country, the names displayed are Basque but is dated in Santander.
