Tarjeta postal de 86 x 136 mm, impresa con dibujos en color del equeleto, vértebras, corte de un diente, músculos de la cabeza y musculatura del antebrazo de un humano.
Servía para el estudio y como recordatorio para exámenes de anatomía y era una simplificación de láminas más grandes y detalladas de 45 x 60 cm.
El reverso tiene impresa la leyenda"Tarjeta postal", el recuadro del sello y los datos de la editorial separando la zona de la dirección de la destinada al texto: "Casa editorial de Gustav A. Rießschel, Leipzig". Aunque la edición es alemana, se hace en castellano por lo que suponemos que el mercado al que iba destinada era el de habla española.
Aparece también en el reverso varias firmas, una a lápiz de L. Rosety dos o tres a tinta sepia con pluma estilográfica (en una de ellas aparece el apellido Macías), suponemos que pertenecen a propietarios de la tarjeta postal y estudiantes de medicina. A Lápiz hay dibujado en el lugar del sello un simulacro del mismo, donde se incluye la palabra España y 35 céntimos así como varios pequeños dibujos que reproducen medios de transporte: tren, barco, globo, dirigible, ...
Por los datos de ese dibujo del sello podríamos hablar de una postal de los años 40, aunque por el aspecto de la edición y las firmas a tinta quizás pueda ser anterior, incluso de la década de los años 20 ó 30, incluso de principios de siglo, aunque debió ser utilizada durante muchos años después y de ahí el dibujo del sello.
Precioso ejemplar y curiosa la utilización de este soporte para el estudio de la anatomía humana.
