174 a 184.- Bloc postal Córdoba artística Primera serie (hacia 1920)














Bloc de tarjetas postales de 140 x 88 mm (cortadas) y de 157 x 88 mm (sin cortar) compuesto de 12 ejemplares de los que se conservan en el cuadernillo los 11 primeros que mostramos aquí. Se tratan de fotografías de Córdoba impresas por el procedimiento de la fototipia en los años 20 del siglo XX.

Hay 8 postales dedicadas a la Mezquita-catedral y 3 a pinturas de Julio Romero de Torres.

La carátula del bloc muestra los siguientes textos "BLOC POSTAL" "CÓRDOBA ARTÍSTICA" "PRIMERA SERIE", en la contraportada aparece impreso: "CASA LUIS SAUS" "CALLE DE SANTA ISABEL, 17  MADRID"

Este bloc debió de editarse en los años 20 conjuntamnete con otros muchos de diferentes lugares de España.

Buscando información sobre el editor, el señor Luis Saus, hemos encontrado la siguiente noticia sobre su persona y sus hijos en la siguiente publicación del diario ABC en la página 25 del día 19 de febrero de 1926 y que transcribimos:

 "Un hijo denuncia a su padre por malos tratos.
 En la casa de Socorro del Hospital fue asistido ayer de múltiples equimosis (hematomas) en las piernas, en el cuerpo y en la cara, de pronóstico reservado, el niño de trece años Luis Saus Vecino, habitante en la calle de Santa Isabel, 17.
Manifestó que se las había causado su padre, Luis Saus González, de cuarenta y tres años y fotógrafo de profesión, al darle una paliza con un vergajo, por habérsele olvidado cumplir un encargo.
Añadió que, como los malos tratos del autor de sus días eran frecuentes, solicitaba del juez que le depositara en poder de su abuela, Antonia Dorego Rodríguez.
Ésta, fue llamada a declarar, y dijo que creía posible lo declarado por su nieto, pues el padre de éste ha seguido los mismos procedimientos con otros hijos, motivo por el cual una hija, llamada Carmen, de veintidos años de edad, ha ingresado recientemente en el Asilo de las Adoratrices.
El juez dispuso que el niño fuera entregado a su abuela, y seguidamente ordenó la comparecencia de Luis Saus González, quien manifestó que no era cierto lo declarado por su hijo, pues si bien es verdad que le había dado algunos golpes con un vergajo, no lo hizo en la forma cruel que se le atribuye.
También negó haber maltratado a su hija Carmen.
Siete horas después de lo ocurrido y cuando el padre se hallaba en su domicilio, de regreso del Juzgado, solitó, por hallarse enfermo, la asistencia del médico de la Casa de Socorro del Hospital.
Éste acudió y apreció "estado fisiológico", lo que comunicó al juez, enviándole la certificación correspondiente"

At Socorro's Hospital yesterday was assisted numerous bruises (hematomas) in the legs, body and face, guarded prognosis, the child of thirteen Luis Saus Neighbor, a resident on the street of Santa Isabel, 17 .He said that he had incurred his father, Luis Gonzalez Saus, forty-three and a photographer by profession, to beat him with a pizzle, at being forgotten an errand.He added that, as the author's abuse of his days were frequent, asked the judge to deposit with his grandmother, Antonia Rodriguez Dorego.It was called to testify, and said he believed possible stated by his grandson, as the father of it has followed the same procedures with other children, why a daughter named Carmen, twenty-two years of age, entered recently at the Asylum of the Adorers.The judge ordered that the child be given to his grandmother, and then ordered the arraignment of Saus Luis Gonzalez, who said it was not true as stated by his son, because if it is true that he had taken some blows with a pizzle, not did in the cruel attached to it.He also denied having abused his daughter Carmen.Seven hours after the incident and when the father was at home, back of the court, alone, for being sick, medical assistance the Emergency Hospital.
